NEW LOCATION FOR 2016 and 2017! We will hold our summer camps at the beautiful Charlstrom House, next to St. Andrews Episcopal on Carrollton Ave. Our camps have outgrown our Oak Street location, and there is NOT a more glamorous and stately facility to learn the art of sewing. The circle drive will be very convenient for pickup/dropoff as well! We are so thankful to Father Jim and the kind staff at St. Andrews for entrusting us with their wonderful facilities.

***NEW PROJECTS FOR 2017 SUMMER CAMP****

BASED ON PARENT FEEDBACK, CAMP WILL NOW BE MON-FRI 9:30am-3:30PM

If you are older than 9 and have taken beginning sewing, or the equivalent (Sew Fabulous camp, private lessons, classes) then a week of intermediate summer camp is for you! Thanks to helpful feedback from parents, we’ve added a NEW category this summer, “intermediate”. Not quite advanced yet, but beyond the beginner level is where this camp will focus.  IF your student hasn’t sewn since last summer, he or she will probably be frustrated if you enroll them in the advanced week. We will not spend nearly as much time threading and doing machine basics, so if this is a rusty area for your little one, please enroll them in beginner week. They will not be making the same projects as LAST summer’s camp- all new projects each year.

TWO OPTIONS FOR INTERMEDIATE SUMMER CAMP 2017, weeks of:

June 12-16th (Mon-Fri. 9:30a-3:30p) FULL

July 10th-14 (Mon-Fri 9:30a-3:30p)

EACH week will only have a maximum of 8 students, so if he or she desires to attend with friends, please plan ahead as soon as possible before the spots are booked. The last couple years, we’ve had every camp week sold out, some with a waiting list.

Take your skills to the next level with trendy fashion pieces, and learn to sew using a pattern. Some of the projects to challenge these beyond beginner sewers are pictured below:

After registration, we’ll email you the supply list of necessary supplies and notions each camper will need to complete the various projects as camp gets closer.

We’ll supply all the patterns, guidance, and as much of the materials as we can. HOWEVER- we received a lot of positive feedback from our students last summer about selecting their own personal fabrics for individualized sewing projects, so we’ll send you the yardage and specifics needed.

Camp is Monday-Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Students will be responsible for bringing their own lunch every day (we will have a few snacks)but we will provide lunch on Friday, (last day of camp) AND the campers BIG fashion show will be at 3:00pm on Friday, so they can show off items they’ve made throughout the week.camplunch

Camp fee for the week is $275
